dc.description.abstract |
This work examines the accessibility of indigenous materials to libraries and information centres in Kenya. An attempt is made to define the term "indigenous materials." Sources of materials are examined, and methods of procurement described. Types of materials produced in Kenya are discussed. Attention is given also to the bibliographic tools roduced and what remains to be done in this area. It is concluded that publicizing the existence of local materials is desirable. |
